How do I log a ride?

Tap the + button on the bottom tab bar to open the ride logger. Enter your platform, fare, tips, and distance.

How does mileage tracking work?

Go to Dashboard and tap "Start Track" to begin GPS mileage tracking. Miles are logged automatically while you drive.

How are tax deductions calculated?

We use the current IRS standard mileage rate ($0.70/mile for 2025) multiplied by your logged business miles, plus any deductible expenses you've recorded.

Can I track multiple platforms?

Yes! DriveSmart supports Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Instacart, Grubhub, and Amazon Flex. You can log rides for any platform.

What do Smart Alerts do?

Smart Alerts notify you of upcoming surge pricing, nearby events driving demand, and weather conditions that increase ride requests — so you can be in the right place at the right time.

How does the Surge Map work?

The Surge Map shows AI-predicted surge zones based on events, weather, and historical demand patterns. Tap any zone to see details, then tap "Get Directions" to navigate there.

How do I upgrade to Pro or Elite?

Go to Profile and tap your subscription tier badge. Pro is $9.99/month and Elite is $19.99/month. Both are billed through the App Store.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → DriveSmart, or use the "Manage Subscription" option in the app under Profile → Help & Support.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account. You can also email us at support@udrivesmart.com. All your data will be permanently removed.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your ride data, earnings, and location are encrypted and never shared with third parties. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
