ForgeBuild is a single-user, local-first app. Your data lives on your device. We do not run a backend, and we do not collect or transmit personal information.
Everything you enter into ForgeBuild — your profile, workouts, weight, measurements, reflections, and badges — is stored locally using iOS AsyncStorage. Nothing is uploaded to a server we control.
If you grant permission, ForgeBuild reads your step count and body weight from Apple Health to save you from entering them by hand. This is read-only and stays on your device. We do not transmit HealthKit data anywhere.
If you choose to subscribe, the purchase is processed by Apple's StoreKit and tracked by RevenueCat (our subscription receipt validator). RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and your subscription receipt — no name, email, or device identifier. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
If you enable workout reminders, ForgeBuild schedules local notifications on your device. These are not push notifications and do not involve any server.
You can export every byte of data ForgeBuild holds as a JSON file from the You tab. You can also clear all data from the same screen — once cleared, the app forgets you immediately, and there's nothing on our end to delete because we never had a copy.
ForgeBuild is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content, but it is designed for adults tracking their own training. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.
