Take a photo of your receipt using the camera or select from your gallery. The app uses on-device OCR to read the text and automatically fills in the amount, vendor, date, and category. No internet required — it works offline.
Take a photo of a rate confirmation, BOL, or load tender. The app extracts load number, broker, rate, pickup/delivery addresses, dates, and more. Review the auto-filled fields and save.
Deadhead miles are the empty miles you drive to reach a pickup location (no pay). TruckerLog calculates your current distance to pickup and shows the true effective rate per mile including deadhead, helping you decide if a load is worth taking.
TruckerLog uses HERE Maps truck-aware routing, which considers your truck's height, weight, length, axle count, and hazmat classification (set once in Profile → Truck Dimensions). HERE is an industry-standard commercial routing provider used by many major logistics companies, and its routes avoid low bridges, weight-restricted roads, and hazmat-restricted zones based on your rig.
Distances and ETAs shown in the app are planning estimates. When you tap Navigate, TruckerLog opens your preferred maps app (Google Maps or Apple Maps) for turn-by-turn voice directions. Always follow posted signage, DOT regulations, and your own judgment — road conditions, temporary restrictions, and bridge clearances can change.
